WOW, Where did this come from ?

This game really took me by surprise.

I was looking for something unique and different. I definetly found it. This game is unlike anything I have ever played. It is crazy because while the gameplay is as straitfoward as can be.... I still find myself very confused when it comes to the missions.

The missions seem to come periodically and randomly, and they are all the same as far as I could tell from my 60 minutes of play (which I used in a single sitting) There are a bunch of locations on a map, one of them is the one you need to go to, but there is no way to identify it as far as I could tell, which is a little frustrating, I hate luck based success or failure.

Forget about the missions tho, the real "meat" of this game seems to come in the form of the Global Defense Network Headquarters Training Facility......

WOW IS THIS COOL !!

The music is INCREDIBLE ! (I can't believe all these songs fit in an 8 mb file) It is seriously mood-setting techno/trance stuff and it is all really good ! The music adds so much to this game!

The graphics are so simple that it is hard to explain why they are so amazingly slick and fluid. Everything has a very colorful almost day-glow etyle to it... it really makes the game come alive. The reflections and the particle effects are all top notch and they bring such unique and vibrant life to the game that you can't help but want to play it. Despite the "neon" nature to the graphics the game is still somehow able to achieve a wonderfully "gritty" atmosphere.

A+++++++++++ on concept !!

The storyline is a little hard to really comprehend in 60 minutes due to the presentation of it. You basically communicate and are communicated with thru an in game message baord. Reading all the messages starts to clue you in on what is going on.

I couldn't tell before the trial ended if the storyline was weak or strong but i definetly got the sense that it was intricate.

I love this game, I think I am gonna buy it......

Music and cool covert blasting operations for $15

Right when you first start the game, you can tell it's different, and that's a good thing. You start off in what seems to be an innocent training program where you are shooting things out of the air, sliding along walls, and so forth to very cool music. It's great fun...

And then you get pulled into a story of covert intelligence and...well, I don't want to ruin it for you. Suffice it to say that the game has great music, fast action and unique gameplay. It won an "Innovation in Audio" award at the 2005 IGF, and it deserves it for sure. I've never seen another game do what it does.

Want to play the funnest target shooting game thing in the world?

This is a game for any one who likes shooting games. The graphics are amazing. the levels go to the music and you have to shoot the special targets that pop up. there are different kinds of guns and there are cannons that shoot balls and bricks and pillars that pop up with targets on them and every once in a while you have to go on a mission to find and destroy aliens but you actually just shoot an astroid to pieces each time. i don't get that part. for only 15 dollars this game rocks

Weapons

Depending on your playing style, you will want to play with different guns

For instance those who love to click and hold and watch those bullets fly...
The "Machine Gun" would be best suited for those people.
Though timing is required as the gun will overheat, this can be brought down by upgrades.

The "Steel Ball Gun" and the "Shell-Shot Gun" require the most accuracy and timing as the projectiles have to hit and don't make contact straight away like the Lightning Gun or the Machine Gun. Though the blast from a correct hit will hit others around in a small radius. Again which can be upgraded in the weapons menu.

The hardest weapon in my opinion is the "Dual Cradle Missle Launcher" The missles go to any point where you click but they take a few seconds on getting there. As this is a fast paced game, it makes the missions and the training levels much harder.

I saved the first weapon till last because in my opinion. It's the best out of the whole group. You dont have to be that accurate as the lightning bolt hits the nearest target to where you clicked *it will only jump a little from your mouse click* After the upgrades I only use this weapon to do any of the levels.

But this is just a little heads up on to what the weapons are like...

How you use them..
That's the key on how to win!

Good Luck

Achieving a good success rate with DDR-style arrow targets

Lighting gun: Make sure you've gotten rid of your first charge before starting the sequence, you'll be able to hit the targets at the rate of appearance with much more comfort.

Shell Shot Cannon: Pounding the middle of the "arrow displayer" will destroy targets as they appear regardless of their position.
