Not as bad as that

It took me a while to install this game, because of all the bad reviews I read here and on another site. Complaints about not knowing about the hints right away, keys don't always fit in, objects impossible to find, tombstone puzzles don't have the right shape - all these things put me off.
However, I have a lot of experience with HO games, and decided to download it anyway.
To my surprise, it was not as bad as some people make it out to be. Also, I always set the brightness to the highest setting for my HO games, so even if 'too dark' wouldn't have been mentioned, I would have set the brightness high. However, I didn't find the game too dark - have seen darker games.
Also, there is a 'How to play' tap right at the beginning of the game, which tells you exactly what to do and how to get more hints.
Also, I had no trouble getting the keys into the locks first time, and the puzzle pieces for the tombstones looked just the way they should.
Yes, most of the items were difficult to find (although I had no trouble finding the objects on the tombstones), but then again, if I find objects too easily, it will get boring quickly, and there is, after all, no time limit.
The one thing I didn't like too much was that the rooms were rather cluttered. I would have preferred if there hadn't been all that many items strewn about.
Graphics could have been better, but I have played games with worse graphics, and the ghosts didn't scare me either.
I enjoyed playing the demo, but would not buy the game simply because it's not as exciting as I would have liked it to be, and I can see it becoming repetitive very quickly.
