Even better than it seems

This game seems to appeal to most gamers very well at first but then they start complaining about the game balance and difficulty of the game.

You won't notice either of these complaints during the one hour of trial. Sure, it isn't easy but you are still trying to figure it out and make progress. When I played the full versions of a friend of mine, I thought the same: "Boy is this game tough", "man, is this spell useless". But after playing something like 30 minutes each time I visit my friend I found out that in fact the game is well balanced. Sure, there are still useless spells (all games will have them) but the longer you play and the more you try around, the more useful some of the spells will become. Not only the spells, at first I thought there is just one strategy but I find more and more.

Secondly, the difficulty level is quite hard but it all depends on your dedication and ability to tap into the game. The more tricks you find out, the easier it gets. Well, "easier" still means dying a lot, but I found myself beating several levels that seemed to be unbeatable before after changing my strategy!
And this, friends, is what good games are all about. I am tired of games that are toned down to the point where a monkey could finish it. Evil Invasion is quite a challenge but so far I made steady progress. Currently I am stuck at Level 9 but I know if I adjust my strategy slightly and get some luck with the potions I will also beat that level.

(now I read that the game will continue after Level 10 but that you will not be able to save from that point on - well, if this is true that would be terrible and would be a big dent in the perfect impression this game has on me)

Verry good

I liked this game verry mutch with the great varity in skills and attributes this is a must have for any crisomland fan.
But be warned this game is verry hard! harder than crisom land and only recommened for the experienced players!

Umm...

This game was quite unbalanced to the player. The 'level up' system on the game is a joke, the monsters level up when you do, so what is the point in leveling up to get more powerful if your enemies do too? Furthermore, for all the reviews that say the game is like diablo, diablo had physical attacks that you couldn't really run out of, this game uses nothing but magical attacks aside from the stone curse attack where you get a melee hit. Furthermore, on diablo games, the monsters don't level up with you like they do on this one. On a plus side, it has good sounds and somewhat decent graphics.

Most effective spell will always be the Fireball. Note that the mana cost of Fireball will NOT increase, not matter how much you upgrade it! Once yor mana regeneration is sufficient to cast Fireballs virtually "for free" you have a good basis to work from. Then it's very important to upgrade the Luck skill, later in the game you are very dependant on mana and health potions to show up. Also, this is the only way to get the upper hand over the monsters. They level when you do but if you find extra skills or stats, you'll have the advantage you desperately. (you might invest a point or two in Telekinesis as well to pick up items from a distance) I found the Poison spell was working best for me in combination with the Fireball. Basically you kepp on poisoning the ground you are standing on or where you want to move to. Since most critters will run towards you you'll inflict the maximum damage AND protect yourself because most enemies will die before they can touch you. Everything you can't poison will die to the fireball and vice versa. Most of the high end spells are useless compared to the mana efficient Fireball.

Your Magic Missiles aren't as bad as they seem! Sure, you start the game with them, and they do almost no damage in the higher Levels, but they ARE guided, they take almost no Mana, and most importantly, they have a "Slow" special-effect! Use them to "stick" enemies either to line them up for a heavy attack, or to give yourself breathing-room (Until you get the "Stone Enchant" or "Wrath of God" Spells!)
