addictive until you get sick of the repetitiveness

This game is polished and well-made. I liked the powerup system (which you often get from semi-secret "secret levels"), and there are some other features that you won't find in other games. These things make the game very addictive at first, especially if you haven't played match-3s in a while.

The drawback? it's a match-3. and a repetitive one at that. the powerup system and coins and crystals, will only keep you going so long, before the mind-numbing repetitiveness gets to you. every level is the same -- break groups of three, destroy the obstacles, find secrets, and make your way to the end. rinse and repeat.

my advice: get the demo, have a good hour of fun, and you won't be exactly sad when the time runs out.

This Game is FANTASTIC

I thought the match 3 game was played out..
Too many...not challenging enough...
I mean really.. Bejeweled is perfection, what else could there possibly be?

There is Emerald Tale.

Simply put, the graphics are beautiful. Yes I said beautiful, stunning, glorious and brilliant. Every one of those would work. The detail is wonderful, the colors are vibrant and realistic.

The sound is fabulous. Its not cut in, or overlaid, too loud or too soft. The sound of crystal shattering is perfectly maintained and with what seems to be high definition clarity.

The gameplay is what I like to call simply complex. The concept is easily understood, and appealing to whatever age you happen to be. The game is consistent with its difficulty while not becoming frustratingly hard. Logic, reasoning and a tad bit of luck will help as you tackle each board. Once you start, you will find it very hard to stop.

Overall the game is perfect. The story line is cute and child-like, but not geared only to children. The look of the game is great, the play of the game is addicting.

Perfection.

Basically, clear out the Whole board before advancing because you NEED all the coins and gems. Also keep track of areas with multiple exits so you can go back and take the other exit. There is no reminders on the map letting you know where you got each object.

theres is 1 gem on just about every board often times you have to clear the whole board. often the gem is up top a tall tower and collect all the coins so you can go to the planet up in the sky.
