A little more Dash than Hop

I found that Dress Shop Hop was a pretty okay game. It was a little too challenging for me at times, and I am a seasoned player. It is possible to 'cheat' in the tougher levels. You can go back to earlier levels, and get the 'fashion tips' and use them in the current level. I played until I got stuck, then went back to the earlier levels and got all the levels up to expert, atleast until I got enough fashion tips to upgrade my current level to make it easier!!

I have to agree totally with Phoenixrools. I couldn't even make it past level 5, never mind making it higher. How can you build "chains" based on color, and ring everyone up at once, when they have customers waiting for ya and their colors bear no relationship to the current ones? And it seems to run by fits and starts--1 customer...then 2 customers...then none for like a minute...then 4 coming in at once...and only one machine making cloth, and no way to get to the "upgrade" shop till you win a level? Why isn't there a way to build up a stock of cloth so that you can work ahead?

Challenging but not impossible

I didn't have a hard time passing level 7 at all but that was the first level I had to really strategize to get the extra expert points. The tricks to getting the most points possible in any level is keep matching up the colors and you also get chain bonuses when you ring everyone up at once. So ring up 2 or all 3 if you can at once for maximum points. I really like this game though, so far.

Tips & Tricks for 'Dress Shop Hop':

TIPS are earned by making customers happy, to maximize their happiness give them refreshments. If you get stuck, go back & play earlier levels to get more tips to buy upgrades. The GOAL $$ amount is earned by selling clothing & bonuses. Maximize bonuses by matching the colors of consecutive customers. In level 7, for instance, use one analyzer for red customers, one for blue, one for green. If you don't have the right color customer, it's better to let the analyzer stand empty than lose your consecutive-color bonuses. And don't cash out the customers one by one. If you have 2 customers showing the "$" & cash them out consecutively you'll get a $20 bonus, 3 customers consecutively cashed out earns a $40 bonus. You may serve fewer customers in the end, but it's the bonuses that actually earn you the most money to make the goal. If a customer wants a garment that you've put on the mannequin, don't just give it to them. If you make a COPY of the garment for them they'll pay double the price. Remember this when you get to levels with the heavy-set lady (who will buy anything she sees on the mannequin) &/or the blue-haired lady (who buys anything she sees hanging on the rack). By making ahead-of-time a higher-priced garment (e.g. a dress with a floral print) & putting it on the mannequin & also on the rack, then making COPIES for the customers, you're guaranteed double-priced sales!
