Not a disappointment :)

For anyone who loved Cooking Academy 1, this version wont let you down. They added new cooking games and improved some others. I'm not too far into the game so I can't say on behalf of every single addition and modification, but each one I've seen has been good!

They added a seek and find game, not required for every dish, only for some, that was pretty easy but still fun. They added a few other things as well, that I don't remember being in the original, such as using a mixer like what is normally done with the pans (where the steps move along the bottom).

A few games were modified, but I'll just list my two favorites. The part where you're supposed to grate ginger and such other things, and occasionally you have to push out the stuff that gets caught (hopefully those who have played the original know what I'm talking about) has been modified into an easier to click version. It made me very happy to see this, I no longer get annoyed when I get to that part. Another change was in peeling things. It is much easier to do now! You don't have to 100% cover the surface, just most of it, and you can peel diagonally if you want to. It's much smoother than before.

The graphics are basically the same, though I think the screens look much nicer than before.

I still don't think this game is as good as the first cooking mama, however it is still worth a try (especially if you don't own cooking mama). It has some features that cooking mama and the first cooking academy don't. I'm a bit sad to say that there's still not much variety in what you cook. I.E I can't choose to add a spice on my own if I think it'd make the dish better, I'm restricted completely to what it tells me to do. However, give it a shot, and judge for yourself!
