The Mania is back on its 4th installement!

The 4th installment of Cake Mania Series is back... with Jill and a whole new cake-baking adventure with Cake Mania: Main Street.

It has the same graphic-theme as the Cake Mania 3(I mean the ovens and the equipments look the same as Cake Mania 3), but a lot of new features were added... i haven't played through half of it since i only downloaded the trial version of it, but I'll definitely purchase this using my mom's account(of course with her permission).

So calling all Cake Mania-holics out there, its time to get back to the oven and start baking... and start indulging yourself in this new sweet-tooth baking adventure!

  • After purchasing and playing all along, I noticed the game isn't really just like the other 3, wherein only a bakery is played on.
In this 4th installment, there is a bakery, a Burger Barn, a flower shop and a japanese restaurant... so Cake Mania wouldn't really be an appropriate name to it... but considering Jill as the main character... it would do.

Plus, it has a bit of tycoon feeling in it, since you have to upgrade the 4 shops and build attractions... which is a good thing... the new gameplay given by the burger barn and japanese restaurant is nice... and the flower shop is superb as well...

I'm really addicted to it now, really nice twist from the three Cake Mania installments...

    Nice Job Sandlot Games!

    Fabulous

I am now poitively addicted to the cake mania series, only having tried them a few weeks ago. This one is great too, and I do like the way you run several shops and all the upgrades available for the town. This is another must have in my growing collection. Most games I get bored with quickly, but not with this series, as you never know who will order what. I must say not easy to fulfill goals, but it wouldn't be worth buying if it were I would give 10 stars if I could.

The Worthy Installment of Cake Mania

After seeing Cake Mania: Back to the Bakery up on Reflexive recently, I was starting to fear they were going to skip over this much more worthy successor to the franchise, but they didn't disappoint: here it is, in all of its glory. Essentially four time management games in one, you not only return to the bakery, but you also find yourself managing a Burger Island-esque burger restaurant, a flower shop similar in design to the bakery, and a sushi bar like in Youda Sushi Chef.

My only complaint, albeit a minor one, is the difficulty curve: once you hit your stride, the game, no matter which shop you're playing in, becomes ridiculously easy. I got a gold star in all but one level on the first playthrough, and got that last gold star easily enough, but I hardly consider myself a time management game expert. But with a funny, quirky, and self-aware story and new gimmicky customers and levels, easy never means boring.

If you're a fan of the Cake Mania series, or time management games in general, do yourself a favor and pick up this game. You won't be disappointed.
