Great Board Game Adaptation
I burned through the trial on this game and have absolutely loved it. If you're a fan of board game adaptations this is a great one to play. It has great replay value just because of the style of game and the endless combinations. The only thing that was lacking were the game options. I would have liked an option to shorten some of the in game animations such as traveling through shortcuts. Otherwise the game is great, although I think it would truly shine if it had online multiplayer. I would buy this game in a heartbeat if it were on something like X-Box Live. But still, great work Games Cafe! |

Just like the board game... Almost.
If you're a fan of guessing games and trophies, I recommend this one... You get a trophy for solving the case as each character (which can easily be done in a three-character game), but there are several others to be won as well as different rankings of detective to achieve.
You're provided with a notebook to write down clues you've figured out (I suggest typing in short-hand, as you won't be able to view much after you press 'enter'), as well as a log of cards your opponents have shown you in case you forgot something along the way.
The introduction is lacking but it's not hard to figure out on your own; it's definitely not a game for everyone but if you like to solve mysteries then Clue is your answer (board games are hard to play alone, anyway :P) |

I'm in love!
Even though i havnt playèd the board game,i still have become a great addict of this classic. It took me only two plays to understand the game, and it was smooth sailing for me thereafter. The only glitch i found was that the trophies are v.few and could be increased to maintain interest. Overall its worth ur hard earned money! |

Clue Classic is a True Classic
Clue Classic is certainly a boon to anybody who enjoys the original board game version.
With all the characters and all the charm from the board game, Clue Classic is sure to be a hit.
The premise of the game is pretty straight forward, somebody committed a murder in Tudor mansion, and it's up to the players to figure out 'Whodunnit'. By taking turns rolling dice, players advance around the mansion into various rooms and make suggestions as to who they think committed the murder, where they did it, and with what weapon.
At the start of each game three cards are selected and put into the confidential envelope, these cards show who did it, where, and with what weapon. Every player also holds three cards that show either people, places, or weapons that were not involved in the crime. The players must then try to sort out who has what cards in their hands, and by process of elimination figure out what cards are in the confidential envelope.
If you are not sure how to play the board game, then this version can be slightly tricky as some of the game mechanics are not described very well, but with a little trial and error you can figure them out.
Overall, this is a great spin on the classic game and should provide hours of fun to any who enjoy a good mystery game! |
