Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe is a fantastic sequel

Many players dislike sequels because they had nothing new compared to the original. As I downloaded the demo and started the game, I thought no it was a same old stuff (as I metioned above). The main menu and tutorials are exactly the same as the first two works.
But when I skiped the tutorials, I found I had made a big mistake and almost missed a good game.
The graphics are much much better than the first two. Landscapes are more beautiful with many new elements: the lake reflection, the falling snow, night scenes with shining lights, and more! That was a very pleasant improvement.
The gameplay was improved in certain details too. In the original Build-a-lot, paying tax is really annoying, so they remove it in the 2nd part, but meanwhile making the game too easy. In this 3rd part, houses may get stolen, be aflame or need Ambulance. And you can prevent the accidents by build defferent builds (Hospital, Police Office, etc.). Building a Post Office and Banks will brings lots of profit but every of them occupies an empty lot. So in this sequel it is more challenging to achieve the goal in time. The houses still have chances to be damaged or abandoned and you have to repair or restore them as quickly as you can. In this sequel, you travels from one country to another and sometimes you may head back to a country you have visited. So the landscapes are different between levels.
Overall it is a fantastic game, and I hope more sequels to Build-a-lot!

Third in the awesome series!

It's almost pointless to review this game. If you liked the previous two games in the series, then of course you're going to love this one. The graphics and sounds are of the same quality, the gameplay is mostly the same (with several improvements). I bought it without even trying it out first. It's awesome!

Tips & Tricks for 'Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe':

As in the other two games it is wise to build the largest house you can, upgrade it once and then sell. This way you have enough money for timber to build new homes.
Also if you are selling a property and a few other houses go up for sale this will decrease your asking price.I click on low ball and the other house goes off the market right away and I get my full asking price everytime.

Need money when selling your property??List your place for sale and keep an eye out on the rent meter. If its close to pay day then unlist your house, collect your rent and re-list it for sale.(This helps when you are really short of money and other houses are up for sale at same time.)

There are a couple of levels where you have to get a LOT of cash, but have many tiny houses.
My tip: build the workshop and lumbermill, then build a ton of the largest houses you can. Once you have enough cash on hand, tear everything down and build the tiny ones they want.

Later on in the game check for a run down Dormer.Restore then sell it right away then build your saw mill and workshop. Then buy 8 workers, build the biggest house.Don't upgrade it just sell right away. You will have enough cash to buy other houses etc to allow you to finish the level.
