Break Ball 2 Gold - has potential and there is much innovation here.

The designers of Break Ball 2 Gold seemed to have a lot of good ideas. Depending on when it was created makes a lot of difference. If this is an older program and they are fore runners, I'd say excellent. If this is a new release, I'd say it looks more like a work in progress.

There are many innovative ideas presented here. For instance: being able to choose from a variety of paddles before the game starts. They used a wide variety of motion effect, ball types, design styles. Unfortunately, it seems as more time was spent in innovativeness than was spent on presentation or game play. There were very many balls in play at one point, but, only one seemed to hit the targets. Some times the ball hit the targets with no effect and destroyed them at other times. There was no visible distinguishing features on the bricks. The beach balls went completely around and in front of the target as being on obvious separate layers. Some bricks just vaporized without ever being in contact with the projectiles.

It looked more like a game designed on an old system with older programming languages platforms. If this is the case, then this is a stunning display of what can be done by pure code languages. So many games have the aid of "game designer's platforms" (I have a couple), that it is rare to find true programmers. From a designer's point of view - excellent. From a gamer's point of view - not enough continuity in the game play. I'd keep an eye on their progress for future games. I'll pass on this one.

A bad game!

This game is bad. The ball moves abruptly because of bad programming. The looks are also unprofessional compared to other games. There are many other better breakout games available. Don't go on the screenshots, you will regret it!
