Between the Worlds? .. Good game or not worth it?!?!
The matter of this game is it it worth it or is it not!... I played the demo version and frankly it has its good points and bad points.
The good points to this game is it is fun in the mini arcade games section, it has alright music which could use improvements and the graphics are decent but could use more improvements as well.
The downside to this game is it NEEDS to be debugged from the corruption I experienced, and then it needs other work on it as well! It asks you to find a particular item and it's a total flop when you have to click on something different that is of the same item.. for example it asks for a "glass" a "bottle" and a "cap".. so your basic thought is to click on anything that's a glass, bottle and a cap is it not?
Well the moral point behind is it doesn't exactly "SPECIFY" what kind of "glass", "bottle" and "cap" it wants, all in all it's just annoying.. the people who made this game should have been more specific to what they want the person to click on instead of clicking on 30 different "glasses", "bottle" and caps only to have the time deducted from the clock and the list is just endless.
So all in all it's upto the person who downloads the game and plays it whether or not they like it is upto them, all I am saying is if the people who made this game want my money.. they better do some serious thinking before making another hide and seek adventure game and try and be MORE SPECIFIC to what they want.
Also as for the puzzles that have to be completed.. not only are they alright but abit rather annoying too.. and they could use more work on them, to top the question there is going to be way too many reviews now asking how to pass certain puzzles because the creator wasn't specific on the clues.
So whether or not this game is worth the download is upto the person. I myself won't be purchasing this game any time soon unless certain things are cleaned up and dealt with.
also this game doesn't get a high rating!

Cryptic is right!
If a game tells me to find a knife, and I find a knife and click on it, I get that point, right? Not in this game. No, you need the OTHER knife. Or the OTHER caterpillar, etc. Extremely annoying. And it happens about every other scene.
Graphics okay, sound effects/music okay, plot was lame and the dialogue really needed to be thought out better. (I found something to annoy the sorcerer! You get to play three rounds of Breakout! Annoy ME is more like it.....) Side games were par for the course but some of them left you hanging without a clue. I foresee a lot of forum questions about how to beat certain side games because most just let you try to figure them out on your own.
I'm normally a fan of search and find games (highly anticipating the next Encyclopedia of Magic installment) but this one should have been debugged a bit before release. |

A flop of a game!
This game is just another pity seek and find. I'm a huge fan of seek and find games. I didn't like the graphics. The music was annoying. I wouldn't recommend this game! |

Not bad...
I love seek and find games, I like puzzle games, and I like them combined. This game combines the seek and find and puzzles well. What it lacks is a decent story to bring them together. If you skip the dialogue and just go straight for the action, you will not miss anything, and probably be less confused.
CONS: Poor backstory. It doesn't make sense. The assistant looks like he should be performing with The Village People. And a magic wand...in his pocket?! Please!
PROS: Advanced seek and find. This is not for beginners to seek and find - some things are very tough to find! The puzzles are challenging enough that you have to concentrate, but not so tough that you need a notebook and pen to figure them out.
Overall, it's good for what it is, but I wouldn't buy it. |

Sub-Par HoG
The scenes in this game are what killed it for me, they were filled with badly resized stock photos and many double object, when asked to find candy there are 10 pieces of candy in the room, but you need to find something that does not look like candy. I really want the last 20 minutes of my life back. |
