Fantabulous Game!

This game is worth it! The graphics are aoutstanding, the sound is great and the gameplay is extremely challenging. Once you start playing BC Kings, you can't stop! Reflexive needs to have more games like this instead of the same old seek and find and other boring games they have. BC Kings is in the best game they have put on here in a long time!

Who wants Age of Empires 4?

I'm playing RTS games since the Dune 2, and I'm always excited about new ideas. I've just found one!
The idea: The prehistoric theme is quite original and unique in the RTS genre, and very risky too. Somebody likes it somebody doesn't.
Storyline: Having played it for 3 days, it's very interesting I have to say. No big deal first, but after a few hours it gets much more complicated. Loads of funny parts. I was laughing for ten minutes when I had to build the "Troyan dinosaur" to get inside the enemy's camp. Packed with humor, sometimes it's a bit "idiotic", and morbid, like when one of the main character died, and woke up in the Hell. And guess, there is a complette mission, where you have to fight through Hell alongside with other zombies. These are the little things that I miss in the "serious" full-price games.
Gameplay: Similar to other strategy games, which is not bad, I got used to it very quickly. Also there are many improvements I haven't seen before, like the multi-level maps, and the bunch of funny side quests, that you don't have to complete, but you can upgrade your heroes when you make them.
Audio: The sounds are good enough. Hours of music without repeat, and funny unit sounds, they realy sound like cavemen :) If you liked the Orc's voices in Warcraft, you'll love these for sure.
Video: It's better than required. Real-time shadows, water reflections and everything are there. If you spend enogh time, you'll recognize all the small details that the developers spent time with; falling tree leafs, flying birds and butterflies, and even the mammuths and dinosaurs leave their "little package" on the ground.
Overall: The BC Kings is a very entertaining game, and well worth the money. Not only a three or four hour of match-3 or seek and find fun.
I'm very satisfied, and would like to see more games at this quality here.

Lick the screen

Gameplay, sounds, and graphics are pretty good and consistent with the genre. I thought that all the errors and poor grammar were possibly part of the game, being that the characters are from the prehistoric age. However, I realized this wasn't the case when I was told to lick the screen. This would have been an excellent strategy game if it had been properly proof-read. However, if you've played strategy games before and enjoy them, and don't mind the few periods of laughing at the game for telling you to lick the screen, then go for it. Like I said, the gameplay is not bad, it's the dialogue that kills the game. There's the usual selected units babbling each time you click on them, gathering resources, getting items, and running around and whacking stuff. Music is suitable, nothing spectacular.

my tip is to build alot of guard towers around your town and keep your hero in the back of the town for protection. you also should have massive amounts of warriors and keep half in your village and send the others to destroy your enemy's village.

Tip 1: The easiest way for me to defeat the enemy is to get alot of workers in groups of 4 to quickly build and fully upgrade tons of towers around the outer edge of your camp. As you advance build more and go back and tear down the old ones (it gives you half materials back). This way allows you more time to harvest and upgrade other buildings without having to buy a huge army.
Tip 2: Send out the Archers, Catapults and Birds to do most of the work. If you have them stay far enough away they can take out the towers and other buildings undetected. It may take more time since only a few can gather around without being seen, but it works.

Without adding any spoilers, I'd suggest spending your shell coins on hero upgrades and forgetting about the weapons. I bought the highest priced weapon as soon as I was able and still didn't notice a huge difference in damage.. and later on in the game, it makes it much more useful to have a stronger hero than any of the weapons.
