Around the World in 80 Days

What should I say... If you have played The Rise of Atlantis, then you'll find there's almost nothing new in Around the World in 80 Days. The gameplay of Around the World in 80 Days is 'the very same' to the other one and, it is less challenging. What is different is the style - the graphics are really nice while the sounds are not satisfying. So if you had purchased The Rise of Atlantis, save your money for another game. Unless you haven't bought similar games should you buy this one. Sorry about my poor English but I wish my review would help.

Around the world in 80 days

I've been playing this game. I also have rise of Atlantis. Around the World in 80 days has kept me patient and busy. I do find the music a little distracting so I turn it down softly. I'm up to the 3rd level,(just about finnished with it), and each level does get more testing.
I honestly enjoy this one.

It wasn't broken so they didn't fix it!

Terminal Studios had a great game going with Rise of Atlantis, which was released midway through last year. Match 3 or more tiles and work the special items down to the bottom of the screen while working your way around a specific geographic area -- the Mediterranean sea in the case of Atlantis. This time we're going around the world.

Gameplay, music and sound effects are all pretty much identical to Rise of Atlantis, with very few alterations, save for a "bonus" level a the end of each location that shifts to a Jewel Quest turn-every-tile-to-gold motive.

The game is quick and responsive, the music is not terribly intrusive or earwormy, and the graphics are reliable. Translations are in fluent English with a nice attempt to capture the flavour of the Verne novel.
