Swashbucklingly good fun!!
Yo Ho Ho!! I think this is a great value treasure.
As other reviewers have noted the game play is similar to that of Diamond Detective, the main aim being to make the longest continuous links of the same symbol as you can.
The longer it is the more points.
Connect them up,down,across,diagonal anyway you like- you'll soon find if you look closely a 4 match could be a 20 match, as link possibilities become more obvious.
To complete each level of the Story mode you must match gold symbols ( link once)and silver ( link twice) to add them to your Treasure Chest as “Plunder“. In each level if you link enough chains of four or more symbols in a level you raise your Jolly Roger and engage “Plunder Frenzy “mode. This ‘ill Shiver your timbers matey !!!! you must link all gold coins to win £1000,£15000 in gold plunder to add to your score. Do it all in one ,in sections but do it before the time runs out....…………………. Just to add a little extra atmosphere to play, when you do well or if like me at times,not so well! The voice of a salty sea dog pirate lets you know- Hah Hah!!
There are also bonus rounds, all of varying type…. memory match, infinite matching, slot spins for bonus plunder ( if a fare wind and luck are on your side)and a treasure chest and trap game. These are cleverly timed to appear just when you need a change of pace.
As if this wasn't enough value for money, as you progress you unlock the Scavenger mode. You must link the number of each symbol shown on your scavenger list to complete the level. You can also select to play the bonus games individually which is a nice extra.
The matching symbols are all evocative of the Sea faring/treasure island/ Pirate theme, as is the swashbuckling music and the sounds of the Jolly Roger flag blowing in the sea breeze- I think you'll enjoy this little treasure me hearties!! so set sail and go to it!!- Mirluki |

for pirates lovers
Let me put it this way, the game seems to have more than just busting similar items,it just reminded me of gem detective and how addictive it was, plus the bonus level in between brings some spice into it, it has this nice frenzy mode where you can collect as much gold as you can in 10 seconds.
All you need is to have a fast movement on your mouse, and make a longest chain as possible to gain more score that allows you to go to the frenzy mode. don't just make a linear chain, try to go up and down to collect as many gold as possible!
I am still exploring it, but so far it looks like a cool game, someone can be addicted to.( I just like the pirate slang comments when I make long chains such) |

Pirates Ahoy!
This is my first time visiting Reflexive and I have found an awesome game! There's lots of gold and jewels and things to collect and the cool linking way to match is very different from a lot of the games that I have tried. Each level also has a frenzy mode where you get even more gold if you can link up all of the pieces. It's a nice surprise for a slow Thursday afternoon, especially if you love pirates! AHOY MATE! |

Regular game, with good graphics but poor gameplay. If you liked Luck Charm Deluxe, then you're going to like this one.
