The game I was waiting for since Cradle of Rome

I'm glad to have browsed through new games and read reviews. I've been searching for a match-3 game w/sense and this one is extremely excellent!

The graphics are topnotch, and the sounds take you there. I played it in one day and at first I thought it was easy but the challenges heightened, so was my excitement about it. This is one of my highly recommended games, this shall not go unnoticed.

"Wonder"ful game really

I had played the first version of this game, and frankly speaking, it was a bit boring, just because of the no powerups scenario, and so I'd just played the demo. As such, when the sequel to the game came, I was very skeptic about downloading it.

But boy, am I glad that I downloaded the game. The game has been improvized on all aspects, truly. Now, instead of the just the fireball and the freezer, you have 12 other powerups, u can choose from. U earn these powerups as u keep playing on and keep building the wonders.

The runes have been made very beautiful, and this match-3 spree definitely is pleasant to look at. Add to it, the new characters that you have at the bottom of ur screen, picking up the bricks, and even a female in red who comes in and blows kisses in the shapes of hearts, this game makes it look worth it. Another enhancement in the graphics category is the change from day to night n vice versa. This gives u a good look at the wonders during the day as well as the night. Also, the wonders are an awesome lot.

U have the Angkor Vat, the Stonehenge, the Taj Mahal, the Golden Pagoda, the Tikis of Easter Basin(I think), the Colosseum of Rome and one more. And if u manage to get all parts of the secret map, you play a secret wonder. This is the most amazing innovation in gameplay.

The sounds are good too and vary with each new location, slightly, but there are variations and specific runes have been assigned to a specific wonder. In addition, u build the ownder urself by choosing which part to build first and which later, gaining bonuses and points as you keep placing the bricks.

All in all, if u love match-3, u gotta have this one in your collection.

7 Wonders II

when the 1st 7 wonder came out found it interesting and addictive ...

So i was hoping 7 wonders II will be at least the same . Sadly i was wrong 7 wonders II is superb , addictive to the bone ! you won't leave the game .

As you will see , you need to match 3+ blocks to remove them , the more you do the better : you will get power ups for 4+ and 5+ blocks of same color . Special Powers can be gained as you advance , you will be able to choose one on the level and use it when in need . In the demo , from what i played there is also in addition to completing the wonders , secret runes (which seems to indicate that there is an 8th wonder when you unlock all secret maps) . This truely great having an extra challenge when you finish the game .

So The story of the game is nice overall , the animation is nice too (little builders showing you they need stones when you no longer remove the correct blocks) and the music is good along the game .

Overall , this is a must buy , all the elements are here to make this a classic and to ask for more ! Bring on 7 wonders III !

Cheers

7 wonders Vs. 7 wonders II

I own both, 7 wonders I purchased as I just started playing match 3 games. 7 Wonders II is far more fun and exciting. But my problem with both is that once you have beat them, you just cannot go any further. So you play them over and over just under a different name. In a pinch 7 W II is the one I play most often.
