7 Wonders makes you wonder and think!
Of the games I have in this type of category this is the hardest one!! It is a bit unforgiving when you run out of moves but this is a challenging game for those that really want to tax their brain. Although I saw someone complain there wasn't many levels, I have to say that YES...there is more to it than that. Once you clear all the first initial 7 wonders, you MUST do it again, and eventually 3 times to get the highest level!! I didn't make it through the 3 time, I am working on it even now. But it is progressive, it is addictive in nature. You can't help but get involved in this game and make your brain work out the puzzles and connections so you get the best effort done. |

7 Wonders -New Release
This is a very fresh approach to a familiar style of game. 7 Wonders does an excellent treatment on graphics. Intertwining a variety of styles, they manage to keep a clean continuity in the presentation. There is animation through out the game. You really miss most of the side activity, if you do well on the levels. This does give that exra something that one player games often overlook. How do you entertain other people who are waiting to play? Well this game does an excellent job of it and can entertan both the player and the by stander.
The game is set in Egypt and you are escavating stone to build your pyramids. For each set of 3 or more over a stone background you free pieces of stone for the animate workers to carry away. You can make matches of three all day, but if you ignore removing the stone background your workers will go on strike and form picket lines! There are bonuses for larger groups and special plays, with very nice visual special effects for bonuses. The round ends when you clear away all the stone backgrounds & get the corner stone all the way to the bottom of the grid/screen to the conveyor for the workers. You can't build a pyramid without corner stones. In between each level is a very short history of the pyramids and a map of of the area. It appears to be a game suitable for all age groups. The music is nice enough that you don't need to play your own. This game should do very well in public response Based on a sixty minute demo it seems to have the makings of a five star game. But, we'll have to wait to see what the overall response is on the full game is, since this is a new release.

Best game! :D
First of all, I want to say thank you to the makers of this game! 7 Wonders totally rocks! ^__^
This game is awesome in a sense that it's innovative. Why? Among all the Match 3 type of games, this would win best game in that category. The story is about you helping to build the 7 Wonders of the World. Historical write-ups can be read at each Stage so that you'll be able to get a glimpse of the nature of each of the 7 Wonders that you're about to build. I just love games with a great concept!
Graphics are also great... While matching 3 or more tiles, Egyptian workers are down below picking up blocks... and if they run out of blocks, they'll arrange a picket rally! It's sooo funny to see them rallying with their pickets. They'll go back to work if you clear a tile. :D
Sound is not soo nice but it's quite appropriate to the Egyptian theme. :D
All in all, a very nice game. Recommended for all ages! :D |

I loved this games, the little men running away with the blocks was CUTE lol! You then have to build the 7 buildings.
The game may be challenging at some points and frustrating - Just look at the men and have a little giggle to yourself!!
Anyways I loved this game - Up in my top 10 games because I loved its gameplay |

7 Wonders
I like this game, but have gotten to level 7 part 1 and have been unable to get past it. I've played this level about 25 times with no luck, so I've stopped playing it.
It's a great game, but some, like level 7/1, are just not able to be done.
Editor's Note: This game has been completed by many gamers, including myself, so I can assure you that it can be done! If you need some strategic advice you might try posting your question at http://www.reflexive.com/forums. Hopefully one of our experienced users can help! |
